Ancient Cities is a realistic, survival-focused city builder set in an immersive, procedurally generated environment. Guide your people across generations, discovering and advancing technologies, managing resources and population, constructing a thriving city, and interacting with other tribes in a fully simulated world and ecosystem.
Immerse yourself in the ancient past, step into the shoes of our ancestors, and build your city at your own pace. Ancient Cities lets you play in various locations and time periods of the European Stone Age—ranging from the warm Mediterranean to cold Scandinavia, and spanning from the end of the Ice Age to the conclusion of the Neolithic era.
In each unique setting, you’ll encounter historically accurate forests, animals, buildings, tools, resources, and cultural knowledge. You’ll need to carefully manage these elements to ensure your tribe’s survival through harsh and unpredictable times. The game minimizes micromanagement through intelligent automation, allowing you to organize and build while your citizens take on tasks best suited to their individual skills and knowledge.On the regional scale, you can trade or confront neighboring tribes, or even choose to migrate if resources begin to dwindle. The fate of your ancient city is in your hands!
HOW TO INSTALL
- Use the links provided below to access the download page.
- From here, choose your preferred platform and select ‘Download Here’ to begin.
- Once Ancient Cities is finished, right click on the .zip (or .rar & .iso) file and select ‘Extract to Ancient Cities’. To extract files use 7-Zip, which you can get from software.
- Open the Ancient Cities folder and run the application to start the game.
- Enjoy! Don’t forget to run the game as administrator as it helps prevents crashes and errors. Remember to support the developers if you enjoy the game.
