Roman Triumph is a survival city-builder and colony sim set in the heart of Roman times. As a leader, you must guide your people, establish a thriving city from scratch, and fortify it with Roman defenses such as walls, ballistae, archer towers, and more to protect against waves of Barbarians and mythological beasts like the Hydra, Minotaur, and Cerberus. To ensure the success of your city, you must keep your citizens well-fed, safe, healthy, and content.

Strategically planning your city layout in this dynamically generated world is key to boosting your empire’s growth. A well-designed city will attract new citizens, enhance resource and food production, appease the gods, and strengthen your defenses against incoming attacks.As your settlement grows, it will face increasingly dangerous Barbarian invasions from the North. Worse still, your expansion will disturb the habitats of mythological creatures like the Hydra and Minotaur, bringing even more peril to your doorstep.

To survive, you’ll need to raise an army, build walls, towers, and ballistae, and advance through the research tree to unlock stronger defenses. Eventually, you can train legions of soldiers to take the fight to the enemy. Roman life is deeply intertwined with the gods. You must construct temples and adhere to their demands, or risk their wrath. If angered, the gods may destroy your crops, unleash devastating storms, send deadly plagues, or even summon beasts to ravage your city.
