Can you defy fate, navigate life among ruthless gangs, and fend off a relentless zombie horde with only a small group of ragtag militias by your side? Experience a unique blend of classic turn-based strategy, post-apocalyptic survival mechanics, and an engaging RPG storyline. Powered by the modern Unreal Engine, the game features realistic bullet ballistics, a dynamic day/night cycle, fire with material consumption and spread, advanced sound and smoke propagation, AI NPCs with independent lives, faction-based morality, and elements of hunger, wounds, and sickness. Additionally, advanced modding support will be available towards the end of Early Access. You begin as a mysterious patient evacuated by the CDC from their Atlanta lab, rescued in a near-death state by the compassionate residents of Urban Town Shelter, located deep in the southern United States. Your journey involves rising to become a true leader, rebuilding the ravaged camp, and restoring hope to the survivors.
You will then venture out to negotiate alliances with ruthless factions or engage them in battle. Ultimately, you must do everything in your power to survive against overwhelming odds as a massive horde approaches the town after the fall of Atlanta. Urban Strife offers a variety of weapon classes typical of a southern U.S. city setting, including handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. Each weapon has its own advantages and disadvantages, making them effective in different scenarios. For instance, handguns and shotguns excel in close-quarters combat, delivering significant damage. While pistols inflict cumulative damage due to their low action point costs, shotguns benefit from individual pellet impacts that add up. Assault rifles can deliver substantial cumulative damage in burst mode, capable of penetrating multiple targets—if you can find the costly ammunition to sustain their use. Additionally, the ability to aim for specific body parts allows hunting and sniper rifles to serve as effective long-range exterminators. The enjoyment of these weapons ultimately depends on which side of the barrel you find yourself on.

- From here, choose your preferred platform and select ‘Download Here’ to begin.
- Once the transfer is complete, right click on the .zip (or .rar & .iso) file and select ‘Extract to Urban Strife’. To extract files use 7-Zip, which you can get from software.
- Open the extracted folder and run the application to start the game.
- Enjoy! Don’t forget to run the game as administrator as it helps prevents crashes and errors. Remember to support the developers if you enjoy the game.
