Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire is an action-farming-roguelite game that takes place in Transylvania, the legendary home of Dracula and his rebellious son, Voltaire. In a surprising turn of events, Voltaire has a change of heart and decides to abandon his bloodthirsty ways in favor of a plant-based diet. Determined to prove to his father that vampires can thrive without feeding on humans, Voltaire sets off on a journey with the support of his uncles, Frank and Stein. As Voltaire ventures into the world on his own, players will join him on a creepy yet charming odyssey filled with veggie recipes, a plant-based lifestyle, and beautifully hand-drawn art that embraces the macabre. During the day, players will cultivate crops using magical seeds, providing Voltaire with nourishment as he strives to become the world’s first vegan vampire. Expand your farm and territory, conquering various biomes along Voltaire’s path to harnessing chlorophyll-based power. However, as night falls, Dracula will send his minions to sabotage Voltaire’s crops and tempt him to return to a more traditional, bloodthirsty diet. Players must remain vigilant and protect their crops from these threats.
