Wartorn is a single-player, squad-based roguelite where you play as Yara and Elani — two sisters forced from their home and struggling to survive across the shattered Isles of Talaur. Their only hope lies in reaching Beynun, their ancestral fortress. Along the way, you’ll command a growing band of fantastical creatures, harness elemental powers in real-time battles, and fight to reunite your family amid the chaos of war.

Master elemental strategy in a world shaped by fire, water, tar, plant, and lightning. Every element interacts in surprising ways — water douses fire, tar fuels the flames, electricity arcs through wet ranks, and water restores plant-based allies. Understanding and exploiting these relationships is key to survival, and that’s only the beginning of what the system allows.

Expand your Caravan by recruiting squads of mythical creatures — goblins, elves, demons, treefolk, and more. Each squad brings unique abilities and synergies, opening up new tactical possibilities every run. Choose your lineup carefully: positioning, combo timing, and morale management can mean the difference between victory and ruin. If your Caravan’s spirit breaks, the journey ends.

Blending deep real-time strategy with roguelite progression, Wartorn offers high replayability through emergent combat, dynamic squad management, and unpredictable narrative events that can turn despair into triumph — or push your band to its breaking point.

How To Install

From here, choose your preferred platform and select ‘Download Here’ to begin.
Once the transfer is complete, right click on the .zip (or .rar & .iso) file and select ‘Extract to Wartorn’. To extract files use 7-Zip, which you can get from software.
Open the extracted folder and run the application to start the game.
